國立北平圖書館與美國學術界開展文獻交換服務的新嘗試——以自動顯微照像機為核心

A New Attempt at Document Exchange Services between the National Library of Peiping and American Academics Conducted Using Microfilm Cameras

本文以自動顯微照像機為核心對象，利用中英文檔案、日記、報紙等一手資料，討論國立北平圖書館與美國學術界開展的文獻交換服務，並從中美兩國圖書館交流、美國漢學發展史的角度，剖析此項事業的起因、經過和影響。

Based on enormous firsthand materials such as archives, diaries and newspapers etc., this article tries to clarify the exchange service between the National Library of Peiping and American academics by Microfilm Camera from 1936 to 1950s. By doing so, the author analyzes the cause, process and impact of this services from the perspective of library interaction between China and the United States, and the history of the development of Chinese studies in the United States.
