2008年12月9日WTO政府採購委員會大會通過台灣申請加入世界貿易組織（WTO）政府採購協定（Government Procurement Agreement, GPA）案，2009年完成國內法定程序後，台灣將正式成為GPA第41個簽署國。

On December 9, 2008, the World Trade Organization (WTO) Committee on Government Procurement adopted the accession of Taiwan to the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA). In 2009, after completing the relevant domestic legislative procedures, Taiwan will formally become the 41st signatory to the GPA.
