According to the research report ''Digital 2023: Taiwan,'' as of January 2023, there were 20.2 million active social media users in Taiwan, accounting for 84.5% of the total population. This indicates that social media has become an integral part of modern life, especially for the millennial generation born after 2000, whose lives are heavily influenced by the Internet. With the widespread adoption of the Internet, the issue of Internet addiction has become more serious. Therefore, the topic of adolescents' use of social media deserves further investigation. This study primarily focuses on exploring the factors influencing adolescents' addiction to social media in order to understand their current usage patterns and behaviors. The study utilizes Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory and employs questionnaire surveys and SPSS data analysis software. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable references for parents, teachers, and students themselves in terms of education, student counseling, and self-reflection. |
