Special education evaluation is a process of evaluating the quality of work in special education, as well as providing periodic suggestions for improvement. The assessed schools and teachers prepare relevant materials before the special education assessment, and the assessment committee judges and give suggestions based on the materials and on-site visit results. However, teachers’ views on the evaluation of special education have also become more diversified. For example, there are many special education teachers and parents who have suggested that the special education evaluation system be reviewed. This article takes the author’s actual participation in academic year 2020-21 special education evaluation as an example in order to share the perspectives gained during the special education evaluation process and to put forward practical suggestions for reference by practitioner. |
