Factors Affecting Taiwanese Tourists' Choice in Overseas Aesthetic Medical Tourism Services

台灣醫療觀光是一個正在不斷發展的產業。旅客期望在遊程中接觸到讓他們變得年輕和有吸引力的療法。此研究藉由問卷調查法收集256位受訪者資料，進行因素分析。研究檢視遊客選擇海外美容醫療觀光服務因素，發現六個重要因素影響未來評估醫療觀光服務的標準和受歡迎的程度:醫療可靠性、基礎設施、機構形象、接近性、享樂抒壓及藝文節慶等。研究結果有助台灣衛生及相關機構擬定發展創新策略。

Medical tourism is a growing industry in Taiwan. Tourists expect to be exposed to treatments that will make their appearance look youthful and attractive during their trips. In this study, the data of 256 respondents were collected by the questionnaire survey method, and the factor analysis was carried out. It examines the overseas aesthetic medical tourism (AMT) services chosen by tourists and finds that six factors, medical care reliability, infrastructure, institutional image, proximity, stress relief in hedonistic leisure activities, and arts festivals, play important roles to evaluate the standard and popularity of AMT services in the future. This results help Taiwan's health care agencies draw up strategies in medical innovation development.
