隨著數位化程度不斷提高，個人數位足跡越來越難以控制。政府在數位治理中，必須重視數位足跡所帶來的隱私問題及如何監管、隱私保護法制與規範的修訂、數位足跡資訊安全防護、以及提升公眾對數位足跡的認識與保護意識。本研究旨在探討數位足跡在數位治理中所產生的問題?政府應如何有效地處理數位足跡對隱私所造成的問題?綜合本研究結論，政府應加強隱私保護的監管與執行，並積極推動隱私保護法制與規範的建立。同時，政府應該加強數位足跡資訊的安全防護，對於數位足跡的收集、處理和使用進行監管，維護公民的隱私權和個人資料安全。政府還需積極推動公眾對數位足跡認識與保護意識提升，加強數位教育，提高公眾對於數位足跡問題之警覺性和保護意識。政府在數位治理中的角色不可忽視，必須積極面對數位足跡之隱私問題，促進數位化與個人隱私權保護的平衡發展。
