Jejunal varices are occasionally caused by cirrhosis of the liver. Here, we report a case of cirrhosis of the liver associated with jejunal varices and unexpected discovery of stage1B lung adenocarcinoma. The patient presented to the emergency department with dizziness due to bloody stools for one week. She recovered well with thoracoscopic right lower lobectomy followed by ligation of jejunal varices. Co-occurrence of jejunal varices and lung cancer is rare in patients with liver cirrhosis. The diagnosis and treatment process are worth reporting. |
