The user number of health and fitness apps has increased showing the growth of health and fitness apps is a trend in recent years. Google Play had mentioned that user feedback was a way to enhance the evaluation of apps but without further explanation. Therefore, this study aims to explore the relationships between user feedback and app evaluation. The study applied content exploration and statistical analysis to analyze the information of the top 100 health and fitness apps on Google Play. The data collection time was from September 1st, 2020 to March 1st, 2021, and the research tool was the Keyword Extraction System and SPSS. The results showed that user feedback and app evaluation had a significant interactive relationship. The number of positive and negative reviews had an effective influence on the apps' future ranking. In addition, the content of positive and negative reviews showed that users care about information quality. The finding provides app developers with methods to evaluate their products and services in response to the user feedback and enhance app evaluation. |
