學術滋補於科學理論而言十分重要，習近平法治思想的研究本身就是豐富發展習近平法治思想的一種重要途徑。當前，習近平法治思想研究範圍比較全面、研究學科相對集中、梳理闡釋成果顯著，整體研究趨勢向好。關於習近平法治思想的主題主線、科學內涵、理論體系、主要特徵、原創貢獻等核心問題，學術界已有不少研究，存在共識也有差異。本文就必須突破的關鍵點和存在的分歧點嘗試提出觀點和思路，以提交研究者們共同探討。展望未來，學理化闡釋、學術化表達、體系化構建仍是研究之基本要求，應當始終嚴格忠實原著原文原意，從整體研究深入到領域研究，從宣介式研究深入到學理性研究，從闡釋性研究深入到發展性研究，不斷推出高質量研究成果，推動中國特色社會主義法治理論創新發展。
