Parental Stress in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: A Concept Analysis

新生命的誕生總是充滿著期待，但若新生兒提前出生或出生後因疾病送至加護病房，總讓父母充滿負面情緒與龐大的壓力。然而，加護病房緊湊的治療與照護下，父母壓力常是照護人員容易忽視的課題，護理人員應對「新生兒加護病房父母壓力」的概念更加地認識，才能及時適當評估，給予父母照護與支持，提供新生兒家庭更完善、有品質的護理。本文根據Walker和Avant（2019）之概念分析步驟，分析新生兒加護病房父母壓力，詮釋其定義性特徵、前因與後果、實證性參考資料。舉典型案例、邊緣案例、相關案例、相反案例，以釐清概念，並查閱實證性參考資料提供評估，期藉此概念分析增加護理人員對新生兒加護病房父母壓力有更深入的了解，並應用家庭護理於臨床，使新生兒及其父母獲得良好的照護與發展。

Due to the unstable condition of newborns after birth and complex treatments, caregivers often neglect the parental stress in the intensive care unit. Neonatal nurses not only take good care of sick babies, but also improve the whole family system. According to the conceptual analysis method of Walker and Avant (2018), the study compiled relevant literature to perform concept analysis on parental stress in the neonatal intensive care unit, thereby clarifying its definition and characteristics. Additionally, we provided examples of model case, borderline case, opposite case, and relevant cases, and reviewed related empirical data. It is hoped that nurses could have a deeper understanding of parental stress in the neonatal intensive care unit through this concept analysis. It is expected that this concept analysis can provide clinical caregivers with early detection of severely stressful parents and offer strategies to reduce the stress and improve the health and future development of babies and their parents.
