《關聖帝君大解冤經》旨在闡釋解冤真義，「欲為生民解此夙世冤緣」。因由有表裡二層：（一）表因：關帝與慧佛的因緣，《大解冤經》是此善緣相續，發揚法喜，大行宣化的結果。（二）裡因：三世因果報應論的繼承，《大解冤經》具有濃厚的佛教思想色彩，特別是經文中的解冤意識，正是以三世因果論與善惡報應論為核心。仙聖闡教以道德教化、度己救世為重要内涵，也是智識份子傳統的人文情懷展現。《大解冤經》中昭明大帝是提問者、傳經者，慈光慧佛是回答者、說法的智者。關聖帝君請益於慈光慧佛救人度人，實為救世者。《關聖帝君大解冤經》提示的解冤之道，歸納有三要點：1.相信因果，當下自救；2、懺悔還債，行功解冤；3、持誦經咒，清淨默化。

The Guan Sheng Emperor Jun Great Relief of Injustices aims to explain the true meaning of ''relieving grievances'', ''wanting to solve this long-cherished injustice for the people''. There are two layers of reasons for this: (1) Apparent causes: the causes of Guan Di and Hui Buddha, and the Great Relief Sutra is the result of the continuation of this good cause, the promotion of Dharma Joy, and the great publicity. (2) Li Yin: The inheritance of the theory of karma in the third life, the Great Liberation Sutra has a strong Buddhist ideological color, especially the consciousness of retribution in the scriptures, which is centered on the theory of karma and the theory of good and evil retribution. The Immortal Interpretation Sect takes moral indoctrination and self-salvation as its important connotations, and is also a manifestation of the humanistic feelings of the intellectual tradition. In the Great Liberation of Injustices, Emperor Zhaoming is the questioner and the prepherent, and the Ciguang Hui Buddha is the answerer and the wise man of the words. And Guan Sheng Emperor Jun asked the Compassion and Wisdom Buddha to save people together, which is actually a savior. The way to solve grievances prompted by the Guan Sheng Emperor Jun Great Relief Sutra can be summarized in three main points: 1. Believe in cause and effect and save yourself now; 2. Repent and pay debts, and perform merit to solve wrongs; 3. Chanting mantras to purify.
