The United Kingdom's CPTPP Accession

我們先將回顧英國要加入跨太平洋夥伴全面進步協定的理由，接著介紹申請加入的程序，再來分析英國所預期加入後的好處，其次探究可能產生的爭議、及負面影響。接下來，我們特別要關照農產品的關稅配額、食品衛生檢驗、以及動植物檢疫。最後，我們將檢視英國與澳洲、及北愛爾蘭所面對的相關課題。

We shall begin with a review of the rationales behind the United Kingdom's decision to joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, and introduce the process of its accession. We will then explore how the UK has expected the benefits, potential disputes and negative impacts. In the following, we further look into the concerns of tariff rate quotas of agricultural products, and sanitary and phytosanitary. Finally, we will examine the emerging relevant issues with Australia, and those with Northern Ireland.
