Time management is crucial for researchers to accomplish researches. Unorganized and inappropriate information may lead researchers to spend more effort to find the correct one. In this paper, we design and implement a research assistance system called i-CRAS that adopt i-centric concept for its core services.“CRAS”from Latin“crās”means“tomorrow.”i-CRAS is designed to be an i-Centric Research Assistance System for tomorrow’s researchers. Our system can learn the user’s behaviors and preferences to deliver personalized and adapted services such as Call-For-Papers (CFP) services. Furthermore, i-CRAS leverages the available services by Google and Yahoo, and reuses the available information on Internet. It is efficient and low cost for providing smart research assistance application. |
