In September 2019, the Yin Hai-Guang Foundation held an international conference to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Professor Yin Hai-Guang's birth, and four of the papers presented at the symposium were published in this special issue. As Professor Lin Zhenghong pointed out, Yin Hai-Guang uses academic logic, adheres to liberalism, criticizes current politics, 'says what others dare not say and what others are not able to say', takes ideas as the foundation, and promotes the practice of democracy. Papers published in this issue explore the significance of thinking of Yin Hai-Guang and his contemporary liberalists. |
