本文以教學實踐研究為定位,欲解決科技學院大一國文課程學生學習動機不高,以及學生質疑課程與科技學院無關之問題,所進行教學設計改變之行動研究。此目的在於藉由將國文教學與學生的專業結合,以提升學生學習動機與成效。本文以暨南國際大學一門科技學院國文課程之「科暨說書人」教學活動為例,探討科技專業如何融入科技學院國文之教學及其成效。本文採取行動研究之方法,並根據學生心得反思、相關人員訪談、教學者反思、教學意見調查等資料進行質性與量化之分析。研究結果發現,將科技專業融入科技學院之國文教學,能有效提升學習動機、對學生自身領域有幫助,且能提升學習成效。本文對於此教學活動的教學設計與實施歷程、成果以及效益均有深入的描述與討論,期盼此案例對於提升科技學院大一國文學生的學習動機以及課程成效能有貢獻。
英文摘要
This paper takes the teaching practice research as the orientation to solve the low motivation of students in the freshman Chinese course of the college of science and technology. This action research of teaching design change is carried out. The purpose is to enhance students’ learning motivation and effectiveness by combining Chinese teaching with students’ majors. This paper takes the teaching activity of “science and technology storyteller” in a Chinese course of a science and technology college of Chi Nan university as an example to explore how science and technology can be integrated into the Chinese course. This paper takes the approach of action research, and conducts a qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the reflections of students’ experiences, interviews with relevant personnel, reflections of teacher, and surveys of teaching opinions. The results of the study found that the integration of science and technology majors into the Chinese course can effectively improve learning motivation. It helped students in their own fields, and improve learning outcomes. This article has an in-depth description and discussion of the teaching design and implementation process, results and benefits of this teaching activity. This case study contributed to improving the learning motivation and course effectiveness of freshman Chinese students in science and technology college.
