新家人關係──建構單身女性跨代共居住宅意象初探性研究

New Family Relationship: A Pilot Study on Establishing the Image of Intergenerational Co-Housing for Single Women

隨著高齡少子化社會來臨、女性平均壽命較男性長，不婚、離婚及喪偶高齡單身女性人數漸增，加上不婚主義盛行，年輕單身女性成為普遍現象。近年來青銀與跨代共居蔚為風潮，使跨世代單身女性共居住宅可成為此兩群體的住宅選項之一。本研究運用隱喻抽取技術(ZMET)探討女性跨代共居住宅意象，結果顯示跨世代單身女性對共居的首要選擇為「平房」與「庭院」，並期望透過跨代住宅追求「健康」、「成就感」、「做想做的事」及「安全感」等，本研究期能透過結合不同世代的單身女性群體住宅意象分析，提供未來跨代共居住宅規劃建議及參考。

The advent of an aging society with a low birth rate, together with women’s longer average life expectancy compared with that of men, have contributed to an increasing number of older single women who are either unmarried, divorced, or widowed. Moreover, the prevalence of the notion of not getting married has led to more young single women. Intergenerational co-housing, having become a trend over the past few years, serves as a residential option for young and older single women. This study employs the Zaltman Metaphor Extraction Technology (ZMET) image of women’s intergenerational co-housing. The results reveal a “single-story house” and a “house with a yard” to be the primary choice of co-housing for single women across generations. In addition, these women are expected to gain health, a sense of accomplishment and security, and the freedom to do whatever they wish to through intergenerational co-housing. By analyzing the image of single women’s intergenerational co-housing for different generations, this study provides recommendations and insights into future planning for intergenerational co-housing.
