本論文以楊青矗短篇女工系列小說的影像化為例，探討楊青矗的勞工文學作品能夠跨越世紀被翻拍為《外鄉女》電視劇的原因，以及文學作品影像化的緣由，探討作品影像化的內容差異，導演改編的手法與改編後的成績。從中探討文學作品影像化的意義與效應，出版社出版上世紀作品的原因，及文學與影像跨界合作的未來前景。

This thesis takes “the Girls from Country sides” as an example to explore why Yang Qingchu’s labor literature can be reproduced across the centuries, what is the motive and purpose of the director’s adaptation, what are the results and methods of the adaptation, and the meaning and effect of the works, also explores the reasons why publishers published works of the last century, and the possible prospects of cross-border cooperation between literature and video.
