The main purposes of this study were to explore the factor structure of kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence and its correlation with individual performance. The data was collected through questionnaires from a sample of 462 kindergarten principals in southern Taiwan. All collected empirical data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The important findings were as follows: (1)The fit of one-first-order factor and three-second-order factor models for kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence was acceptable; (2) There was a significant association between the kindergarten principal’s practical intelligence and individual performance. Finally, the researcher discussed the findings and provided some suggestions for future research. |
