"In February 2018, the authors received an unknown disease of the tea tree TTES No.12 in Wenshan Tea District. We confirm the zonate leaf bligh disease occur in Taiwan, according to the symptoms, morphological, molecular characteristics and pathogenicity test. The pathogen is not easily stored at room temperature and could be cultured on tea infusion agar medium, but the growth rate is not as good as potato dextrose agar and hay infusion agar medium. The pathogen infected 8 varieties of Camellia sinensis by propagule, expect the Chin-Shin-Oolong." |
