軟枝黃蟬嵌紋病相關之Potyvirus屬病毒

Allamada mosaic disease is associated with a distinct Potyvirus

"自軟枝黃蟬（Allamanda cathartica）分離得Potyvirus病毒株。選殖其基因體3'端涵蓋部分NIb基因（633個核苷酸）、外鞘蛋白基因（CP，含終止碼，804 nt）、和3'非轉譯區（233個核苷酸，不計Poly-A），計1670個核苷酸序列。外鞘蛋白基因編碼產生267個胺基酸。與本土紀錄之Potyvirus病毒相較，與軟枝黃蟬嵌紋病相關的病毒CP胺基酸序列和矮南瓜黃化嵌紋病毒（Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, ZYMV）及大豆嵌紋病毒狗尾苔分離株（Soybean mosaic virus Uraria strain, SMV-Uraria）最為近似，分別僅有64.2%和63.6%相同度；親緣關係分析亦顯示其為一不同的Potyvirus，暫名之為軟枝黃蟬嵌紋病毒（Allamanda mosaic virus，AllaMV）。"

"A potyvirus isolated from an ornamental plant (Allamanda cathartica) in central Taiwan was characterized. The 3' terminal nucleotide (nt) sequence of 1670 nt of the viral RNA genome has been determined, which covered the 3'-half of the large nuclear inclusion protein (NIb), full-length coat protein (CP) gene and the 3' nontranslated region (NTR). The CP gene consisted of 804 nt (including the stop codon) encoding 267 amino acid residues, and the 3' NTR was 233 nt in length excluding the poly-A tail. Sequence comparison of the amino acids of CPs showed that this virus was most closely related to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) and Soybean mosaic virus Uraria strain (SMV-Uraria) with percent identities of 64.2% and 63.6%, respectively. Phylogenetic analyses indicated that this allamanda–associated Potyvirus is distinct from those potyviruses of domestic origins, and thus the name Allamanda mosaic virus (AllaMV) is proposed."
