解讀台灣讀書市場中的村上春樹與吉本芭娜娜

Reader's Reception of Haruki Murakami and Banana Yoshimoto in Taiwan

在台灣，村上春樹與吉本芭娜娜常被相提並論，亦常被視為同世代作家。雖然兩位日本作家在台灣都擁有相當多忠實讀者，但是其影響力與接受程度則有一定的差異。本論文藉由實證研究方法，蒐集有關村上春樹與吉本芭娜娜在台灣發行的譯作以及相關報導、書評等大量資料，以本人近年整理之「村上春樹在台灣之命運曲線」為基礎，再與吉本芭娜娜的「命運曲線」進行綜合分析，並輔以多元系統論以及翻譯研究操縱學派中的改寫理論，具體分析、比較自一九八○年代中村上春樹與吉本芭娜娜在台灣讀書市場中不同接受狀況的成因，同時反應台灣當時社會文化的背景。

"Haruki Murakami and Banana Yoshimoto, two well-known contemporary Japanese writers, are popular and both have many loyal readers in Taiwan. However, due to their varied personal background, Murakami and Yoshimoto have their own different impact on public. This paper aims to analyze the differences by collecting data such as critic articles, readers' responses and news reports from newspapers, periodicals and journals. Based on these datas, this paper compares the 'fate curve' of both writers and anaylsis of poly- system and manipulation theory to examine and the factors that cause similarities and differences of the reader's reception in Taiwan's reading market since 1980s. Meanwhile, the paper also reflects the actual cultural and social background in 1980s in Taiwan."
