林亨泰新式標點之運用

The Punctuation Marks of Lin Heng-tai’s Poetry

本文嘗試從論者較少觸及的標點符號運用出發，以丁旭輝提出的標點符號功能性為基石，將其調整為「音樂性」、「語義性」與「圖象性」，採用新批評為主要析論方式，佐以視覺傳播相關理論，依序觀察標點符號作為「音素」、「字素」、「圖素」時，於林亨泰新詩中發揮了何種作用，又如何建構出詩作的情感世界，進一步釐清林亨泰新詩標點符號運用特色。音樂性、語義性、圖象性此一順序的安排，導因於表示停頓與展現節奏是標點符號的基本功能，故音樂性為第一層討論對象；又標點符號雖非文字，卻能在作品中發揮「字素」的作用，第二層討論即試圖從標點符號傳情表意的基礎功能出發，繼而挖掘標點符號作為一種「字素」，如何承載文本性來強化詩作內涵；此外，標點符號並非文字，其可視為作品中的「圖素」，也因此蘊藏豐富的圖象效果，第三層討論便以標點符號的圖象性為重心。

"The main course of this study is to discuss punctuation marks in Taiwanese modern poetry. The theoretics is based on the new criticism and image communication, and the examples are Lin Heng-tai. The essay analyzes the punctuation marks, including the musical, semantic, pictorial meanings in Lin Heng-tai’s poems, and then tries to investigate into their effect and meaning."
