詩情與畫意──郭雪湖《南街殷賑》觀後（上）

Poetic Feelings and Paintings-After Reading ＂Festival on South Stree＂

昭和5（1930）年郭雪湖繪製膠彩作品《南街殷賑》，此幅作品為長134公分高195公分，氣象恢弘。以臺北大稻埕市街為主題，描繪城市庶民的人生百態的風俗畫。此幅作品甫一送臺展參賽即奪眾評審的目光，色彩斑斕絢麗，得到第四回臺展無鑑查出品、臺展賞。《南街殷賑》探討多以藝術為主，鮮少以漢詩為切入點。圖畫與詩作皆是心聲心語的情感表現，與官樣文字、數據統計、政策法條等具有人文溫度。本研究透過漢詩收集與爬梳、整理為主，搭配畫作呈現與當時照片及文件檔案……等進行跨界統整、分析、研究，透過詩作引領讀者跳越時空，從中探求郭雪湖所描繪的南街真實世界。

1930, Guo Xuehu painted a rubber-colored work ＂Festival on South Street＂ in the Taiwan Exhibition. This work is 134 cm long and 195 cm high, and the weather is magnificent. Taking Taipei's Dadaocheng Street as the theme, it is a genre painting depicting the life of the urban people. As soon as this work was submitted to the Taiwan Exhibition for the competition, it won the attention of the public judges. ＂Festival on South Street＂ mostly focuses on art, and rarely uses Chinese poetry as an entry point. Pictures and poems are all emotional expressions of heartfelt words, and have a humanistic temperature with official texts, statistics, policies and regulations, etc. This study mainly collects, combs, and organizes Chinese poetry, and presents the paintings together with the photos and documents of the time... ...And so on to carry out cross-border integration, analysis, and research, and lead readers to jump across time and space through poetry to explore the real world of South Street described by Guo Xuehu.
