1930, Guo Xuehu painted a rubber-colored work "Festival on South Street" in the Taiwan Exhibition. This work is 134 cm long and 195 cm high, and the weather is magnificent. Taking Taipei's Dadaocheng Street as the theme, it is a genre painting depicting the life of the urban people. As soon as this work was submitted to the Taiwan Exhibition for the competition, it won the attention of the public judges. "Festival on South Street" mostly focuses on art, and rarely uses Chinese poetry as an entry point.
