Researchers participating in the ''12 MOOCs Taiwan'' attempted to understand how MOOCs teaching videos were used in teaching before the core concept video of Mandarin Chinese was put on the platform. This study investigated teachers’teaching process and methods, students’learning situation, and the impact of teachers’teaching based on the video of teaching main ideas on first- and second-graders developed by K12 MOOCS Tainan. This study adopted a case study method to explore teachers participating in the study through the analysis of observation records, student questionnaires, and teacher interviews. There are several findings. First, it is suitable for teachers to ''integrate the teaching videos of teaching main ideas on MOOCs into the class'' by playing them in segments. Secondly, the use of the teaching videos of teaching main ideas on MOOCs can enhance students’learning interest and help strengthen their knowledge and verbalization. Thirdly, the teaching video on MOOCs helps the growth of the beginning teachers’professional teaching abilities. At the same time, this study puts forward suggestions not only on the use of MOOCs teaching videos by teachers but also on the research, development, and promotion of the educational and administrative institutes. |
