古蹟保存的生命真實性──一個東莒的緣份

The Life Authenticity of the Historic Relics Conservation: An Affinity in Dongju Island

古蹟保存的種種問題糾結於對古蹟真實性缺乏掌握及混淆不清，此源於人們習以機械觀物性來看待古蹟。我們應視古蹟為活生生的生命體，把握古蹟之人／建築／自然環境／文化環境的相互交融共構而出的生命真實性，探討古蹟生命發展歷程每一階段的文化場域質感。由於古蹟生命的動態性發展特性，我們不能將古蹟無差別地定格式凍結在某一過去樣態，而需參照各個古蹟的保存特性，由相關社會行動者透過公共領域，在「過去」類別之始終如一型生命真實性、「現在」類別之現代詮釋型生命真實性、「未來」類別之未來轉譯型生命真實性中，仔細檢視任一修復決策是否同時符合古蹟價值確保與生命真實性命題。如此，方能把握古蹟的核心價值與生命動態。

Lots of problems regarding cultural heritage conservations come from the controversial issues of authenticity and the mechanical ideology. We must regard cultural heritages as living bodies with the life authenticity which contains the interaction of the people, the cultural heritage, the natural environment, and the social environment. Since the dynamic characteristics of the development of cultural heritages, we had better consider whether cultural heritage conservation projects meet the authenticity criteria of“keeping the same”type,“modern interpretation”type, or“future translation”type.
