楚簡「（與止）」字考釋

An Exegeses of the Characters ‘(與止)’ in Chu Bamboo Manuscripts

在楚國卜筮祭禱簡裡多見从與从止的「（與止）」字，然而「（與止）」字在卜禱簡的文意中觀看不出用意，因此學界對此字尚無統一的解釋。為了解「（與止）禱」的意涵，勢必先知曉「（與止）」字作何解，但單看卜禱簡的例證是不足的，故本文除了以卜禱簡中目前有圖版出版的望山、包山、新蔡簡外，另羅列同有「（與止）」字出現之郭店、上博、清華簡做為對比卜禱簡的其他楚簡字形研究之對象，擴大範圍對上述楚簡中有包含「（與止）」字以及其他同為从與的「（與足）」、「（與呂）」、「㦛」、「（與口）」字做一遍梳理，整理後發現一些字的用法相同；而一些字較無關聯。就此結果試圖解析「（與止）」字在楚簡中做何解釋。本文使用偏旁分析法、文例推勘法、比較法作為从與諸字的研究方法。最終，楚簡中「（與止）」、「（與呂）」、「（與口）」三字本文認為均釋為舉。楚文字中未見有从手的舉字，故本文認為「（與止）」字為楚文字「舉」意的專用字，从足、从呂或為形近而訛，或為意近替換。

The character ‘(與止)’is common in Chu’s Augural Records. However, the usage of the character ‘(與止) ’ in the context is unclear. Therefore, the academic circle has not yet concluded on this character. In order to understand the meaning of ‘ (與止)’ in Chu’s Augural Records, it is necessary to expand the search for related characters in all Chu bamboo manuscripts, such as‘(與足) ’, ‘ (與呂)’,‘ 㦛 ’and‘ (與口)’. Found that some characters have the same usage; some characters are less relevant. Use this result to try to understand the usage of ‘(與止) ’ in Chu Bamboo Slips.
