In the process of internationalizing education, Taiwan was once hailed as a leading country in its success in “Human capacity building” in the global context. As never before in the long history, Taiwan has been globally recognized for its international competitiveness made possible through the vibrant local and international education systems and dynamic practice. And yet this Taiwanese legacy is gradually eroding for some reasons. To rejuvenate Taiwan’s past glory and competitiveness, education internationalization and the fostering of holistic English and foreign language skills must be implemented substantially. |
