清末屏東地區族群社會網絡與基督徒群體的形成

The Ethnic Social Networks and the Formation of Christian Communities at Pingtung during Late Qing Dynasty

目前關於屏東地區宗教信仰與地方社會的研究，多數集中在民間信仰；涉及基督宗教之研究，則以萬金聚落因獨特的人群和文化特色，使其天主教信仰受到較多研究關注。關於屏東地區基督教的開拓與傳播歷程，以及其與地方社會的關係之研究，亟待更多的努力。本文在詳實的史料考證上，建立並瞭解屏東地區基督教傳播的歷程，進而探究基督徒群體及其在多族群社會中牽涉的社會網絡。除希望能凸顯信徒在基督教傳播歷程中扮演的角色外，亦期能瞭解不同族群接受基督教信仰的原因、拓展的方法，以及基督教徒中的族群關係等課題。是故本文深入討論不同族群的基督徒在具有同一信仰之後，在傳教上所扮演的角色，及其之間的人際與婚姻關係，並進一步探究屏東地區基督徒的社會網絡所呈現的多元族群之間的競合關係。

The main purpose of this study is expecting to build up the course of spreading Christianity in Pingtung area based on studying historical documents and materials in details. And further exploring the social networks of Christian in Pingtung when they were in a society with multiple ethnic groups. This research aims to point out the characters that these Christians played during the mission of Christianity. Besides, this research also aims to understand the reasons for accepting belief of Christianity by various ethnic groups, the method of expansion, as well as the issue such as relationship of various groups among Christian.
