Ethical Issues of Care Robot

"本文探討機器人運用於照護場域所涉之倫理議題，介紹以「能力取向」為進路，來探討不同類型照護機器人對被照護者、照護者及社會整體可能帶來的倫理衝擊，並以「照護為核心之價值敏感設計（care centered value-sensitive design）」與「負責任的研究及創新（responsible research and innovation, RRI）」兩種研發設計模式，來反思照護機器人研發與應用之倫理，期能提供研究者、倫理審查委員、政策制定者、使用者參考。"

This paper investigates the ethical issues concerning using care robot in health care. The authors introduce the ''capability approach'' in examining the ethical impact on person-being cared, care giver, and the society from using different types of care robot. The ''care centered value-sensitive design'' and the ''responsible research and innovation'' models for ethical robotic research are then proposed. It is hoped that such ethical reflection and models for research will be helpful for the researchers, ethics reviewers, policy makers and robot users in the processes of development and application of care robot.
