This paper aims to introduce the principles and process of editing Chinese cultural tour material. Unlike traveling or daily life style language teaching ones, the textbook editing focuses on Taiwan history and culture and target for Chinese learners of novice high level. From the survey of cultural tourism words, sentences and phrases, common usages selected, and then instructional designing of the web-course, the e-class, Taiwan Chinese Cultural Tour, is set for our blended teaching model and goal. The implementation underwent practical classroom teaching and blended learning. We collect learners' opinions and do the learning assessment to gather more views for design and teaching. From the teaching process and effectiveness analysis, we access some important revelation and recommendations about online text writing and course designing. |
