十六至十九世紀臺灣西班牙文獻的研究回顧與展望

Retrospect and Prospect: Research on Documents of Spanish-Taiwan in 16th-19th Centuries

由於國內外與臺灣有關的西班牙史料彙編主要集中在十六、七世紀和十九世紀的文獻，所以相關的研究成果也是以這些時期的作品為主。其中又以西班牙殖民北臺灣時期的文獻最被重視，史料的整理及翻譯最多，研究成果也最豐碩。但是我們不禁要問，難道十八世紀除了一份與林爽文事件有關的文件以外，真的沒有其他與臺灣有關的西班牙文獻嗎？此外，除了學界已知已刊的十六、七世紀和十九世紀臺灣西班牙文獻，是否還有其他相關文獻還未被使用？所以本文除了說明十六至十九世紀臺灣西班牙文獻的研究成果，尤其是補充2010年以前臺灣學界沒關注的以西班牙文發表的著作，以及2010年以後以不同語言（含中文、英文、西班牙文）發表的作品，並試圖回答上述兩個問題。

Spanish sources related to Taiwan, their studies and compilation, and fruits of associated research are mainly of the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries, with particular importance given to the collections, translations and publications of historical materials on Spanish colonization of northern Taiwan. This paper attempts to contribute in the following areas: (1) review research on Spanish documents about Taiwan in the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries, focusing especially on studies published before 2010 in Spanish, which were mostly neglected by the academia in Taiwan, as well as publications in different languages (including Chinese, English and Spanish), released after 2010; (2) release other 18thcentury documents on Taiwan, apart from that on the Lin Shuangwun event; and (3) make known some new documents of the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries other than the recognized sources.
