英文摘要 |
Building on the scholarship on Wang Tuo’s life and works, this essay examines Wang’s involvement in literary debates and political activism in the late 1970s, as well as his trip to the United States in 1986. By attending to the three nodal points in Wang’s career, this essay intends to illuminate the significance of Wang’s apparent inconsistency in his literary-political achievement. It hopes to not only complement current studies on Wang Tuo in relation to Taiwanese history, but also rethink the political labels that delimit our imagination about political futures. |
