The Improvement of Integrity Rate of Retina Surgery Patient's Nursing Instruction

護理指導是護理人員的獨特專業責任之一，本專案主要目的為提昇視網膜手術病人護理指導完整率。經由特性要因圖及柏拉圖80/20法則分析，視網膜手術病人護理指導完整率低的主因有三項：1.視網膜手術病人的護理指導內容量多且複雜2.輔助教學用具未充分運用3.給予護理指導的方式及頻率不足。本案運用品管圈手法提出具體可行的改善對策並執行，結果顯示視網膜手術病人護理指導完整率由47.58%提升至98.22%，病人對於護理指導看板的滿意程度及感到有幫助由35%達95%，團體護理指導的參加率由20%達95%，除了能增加視網膜手術病人自我照護知識及技能外，亦制定護理人員照護病人之標準，有效提供高品質護理。

Nursing instruction is one of the unique and professional responsibilities for nurses. The main goal of this project is to improve the integrity rate of retina surgery patient’s nursing instruction. By way of the Cause and Effect Diagram and Pareto Analysis, there are three major factors that affect the law integrity rate of retina surgery and the patient’s nursing instruction: 1.The content of the retina surgery patient’s nursing instruction is great and complex. 2. The auxiliary teaching tools are not fully utilized.3. The way and frequency of giving nursing instruction are insufficient. In this case, we utilize a QCC technique to propose the countermeasure and the execution. As the result showed that the integrity rate of retina surgery patient nursing instruction is rose from 47.58% to 98.22%. The satisfaction of the patients for nursing instruction rose from 35% to 95%. The rate of participation in group nursing instruction rose from 20% to 95%. The goal not only increased the retina surgery patient’s self-attendance knowledge and skill, but also formulated the standard of taking care of the patients by nursing staff and provided effectively a high quality of nursing.
