The objective of the research is to explore the improvement priority of dgitial games from the service design perspective. This study intends to fulfill the gap of digital game players“demand and the digital game providers”supply of engineering characteristics.We applied multiple research methods: interviews, survey research, quality function deployment (QFD), and importance and performance analysis (IPA) to find out the priority of improvement that customers desire. We found the top prioritized customer attributes which needed to be improved is the personalization in the Action games. In addition, the top engineering characteristic of game design that needs to be improved is Humancomputer interface (body feeling). From the service design perspective, this study identifies customer attributes (service requirement) and engineering characteristics (service quality) of design of digital games. |
