Kangaroo Care for Preterm Infants

袋鼠式護理(Kangaroo care)自1983年哥倫比亞的雷(Rey)及馬丁尼(Martinez)新生兒醫學博士推廣以來，已漸開始實施於新生兒加護中心內的早產兒及高危險性新生兒，同時也被世界各國廣泛採用。袋鼠式護理可使早產兒減少呼吸暫停的次數、維持穩定的心跳及血氧濃度、增加安靜睡眠時間及體重增加；另一方面，可減輕雙親照顧早產兒的壓力與焦慮，並藉由肌膚間之接觸促進親子關係的連結，因此，護理人員應積極推行此簡便又益於早產兒及其雙親的護理活動。許多學者與臨床專家對袋鼠式護理有深入的研究及探討，筆者根據多位學者的研究，將文獻查證結果加以整理呈現，包括：袋鼠式護理的一般概念、相關研究與優點、注意事項，希望能將此貢獻於臨床實務，使早產兒受惠於此人性化的護理措施。

Kangaroo care (KC) of preterm and high-risk infants was first described by Drs. Rey and Martinez in Bogata, Columbia in 1983. It has been implemented in neonatal intensive care units throughout the world. KC could maintain physiological parameters, such as: reducing apnea, stabilized heart rate and saturation, increasing quiet sleeping time and gaining weight. Furthermore, it could decrease parents' stress and anxiety, promoting attachment between parents and their infants. Thus, we should try to spread the practice for preterm infants and their parents. Many investigators deliberated researcher about KC. The writer will organize and present the literature review, including the concept, the benefits, and the matter needed. We wish that all the preterm infants could deserve cares in a humane way .
