躁症患者之護理

The Nursing Care of Manic Patient

「躁症」是一種陣發性、反覆發作、痊癒低之情感性疾病，臨床症狀主要以情緒高昂、話多、活動量大及意念飛躍或誇大妄想為主。致病因素則包括遺傳、生化、環境及用藥等因素。在疾病的早期應給予足夠的鋰鹽藥物治療以穩定情緒。而謢理的評估應包括身體、情緒、智能、社會、靈性等層面，配合此整體性評估後，提供個別性護理，並加強藥物衛教及社交技巧的訓練，以減少重覆發病，並預防病患身心功能的減退。

Bipolar disorder with recurrent manic, major depressive or mixed episodes, is one kind of mood disorder. In manic episodes, the patient usually has an elated mood, hyper-talkative, having tons of ideas, idea of grandiosity and even active psychotic symptoms. The possible etiologies involve genetic, biochemical, environmental and medication factors. Intervented by administering mood stabilizers such as adequate lithium is important. Thorough evaluation by nursing staff should include physical condition, mood state, cognitive function, social and spiritual aspects.
