For solving the urban parking problem effectively, it needs to developa parking demand model which can analyze the temporal and spatial variation ofparking demand. In this paper, a time-spatial parking demand model is developedbased on the derived parking demand concept. It is integrated withtransportation demand model. The model is useful for generating the parkingspace supply strategy and management concept effectively. The model is validatedusing Taipei city data. It can reflect the relationship of parking demand andurban land use activity. The model will be useful for creating the parking spacedevelopment strategy in the future. |
