White Papers for international education in secondary and elementary schools have been enacted in Taiwan in 2011 and 2020, which designate blueprints for implementing international education in Taiwanese schooling. In the meanwhile, the reform and innovation of international education, or in some places, internationalization of education gradually become of significance in the globalizing world. And Australian case is often seen as one of well-known and important references. From the perspective of policy analysis, this paper probes into the development of Australian policies relating to international education. On the one hand, Melbourne Declaration and related policies are discussed in the analysis of curricular internationalization. On the other hand, the discussion regarding school internationalization focuses on the investigation of National Strategy for International Education 2025, Australia Global Alumni Engagement Strategy, and Australian International Education 2025 (AIE2025) Market Development Roadmap. From the discussion of Australian experience, this paper contributes to the literature of international education policy in Taiwan. |
