台灣液蛋生產之經濟分析

The Analysis of Economics on Product of Liquid Eggs in Taiwan

對於國內液蛋生產之經濟效益，本文運用超越對數利潤函數及Zeliner的反覆近似無相關迴歸估計法，對進行推估。實證結果發現雞蛋因素需求明顯受液蛋價格影響、勞動因素與雞蛋因素間需求關係呈替代關係以及維護與折舊因素和中間投入因素間呈替代關係。此外，依液蛋產量年成長率4.0%推估，得知2003年至2004年全國液蛋供給量分別為56，556公噸與59，724公噸。依此得知，蛋雞產業若能落實雞蛋分類計價制度，並且農政單位能適宜地輔導專業液蛋廠設置，如此方能提升國內液蛋競爭力並降低WTO所帶來之衝擊。

This research employs translog profit function and Zellner's iterative seemingly unrelated regress method to estimate economic effect for domestic liquid eggs, production. The empirical result shows that liquid-egg price has a significant impact on the demand for eggs, the input's demand relationship between labor factor and egg factor tend to be substitutive, and the demand relationship between maintenance depreciation and intermediate inputs tend to be substitutive. Furthermore, the estimated results indicate that the domestic supply of liquid eggs during the 2003 and the 2004 are 56,556 ton and 59,724 ton, respectively depending on 4 percents of the year growing rate for the liquid-egg product. The rest of the research is found that if the egg industry enforces the system of classifying the eggs' price, and the domestic unit of agriculture can provide feasible strategies to set up professional liquid-egg factories. Therefore it may promote the competitiveness of domestic liquid eggs market and may decease the impact of Taiwan's joining WTO.
