Essay Contest for FORMOSAT-5 satellite imagery applications

福衛五號升空以來，今年首度辦理「福衛五號衛星影像應用小論文競賽」，本次競賽利用福衛五號影像光譜及幾何資料特性，來進行土地覆蓋、環境描述與災害等與土地利用相關議題之探討、分析與整理。活動在高中職校園裡獲得熱烈的回響，於7月6日假國家太空中心進行決賽。

FORMOSAT-5 Satellite Image Application Essay Contest was held in this year for the first time since it was launched to the space. This competition was to discuss, analyze and organize issues related to the land use such as the land cover, environmental descriptions, and disasters by using spectral and geometric data of FORMOSAT-5 images. This event received an enthusiastic response on the high school campuses, and the final contest was held at NSPO on July 6.
