Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have been a new form of online education and have become mainstream delivery channels in higher education. In order to provide academic references on the solutions to create MOOCs, this study was implemented to explore how a university teacher independently went through the MOOC production process. This was a twoyear project with three stages, and different design and evaluation tasks were generated in each stage. Diverse strategies and approaches were considered in the process, and the data sources analyzed included the curriculum and course design notes, video scripts, video clips, survey results, and participant feedback. This study concluded with a discussion on several MOOC issues. The research is hoped to help promote MOOC video production and improve MOOC video quality. |
