After the cold war, India has continuously upgraded its power as a result of rapid economic development. At the same time, by means of nuclear strategy and foreign policy India has made itself a unique powerful nation in South Asia. This article intends to explore the adjustment of India's foreign policy and the changing distribution of power in the world from the perspective of structural realism. This article argues that in addition to eliminating the threat from Pakistan, India wants to become a strong state in South Asia and even the world. If India continues to grow, it might become a hegemon in South Asia. |
