日治時期的臺灣藥用植物研究回顧—以蕨類門為例

Review on Pharmaceutical Plant Study in Taiwan in Japanese Ruled Period—A Case Study on Filicales

日治時期台灣的藥用植物研究，主要為臺灣總督府殖民地統治與殖產開發之需，有計畫地調查臺灣自然資源的歷史背景下展開。這一時期學者不僅全面而有系統的調查記錄臺灣各地漢人、原住民族的藥用植物，還引進了近代博物學的分類方法，深深影響了二十世紀中後葉台灣的藥用植物研究。日治時期所遺留下的相關調查報告書或出版品數量不小，本研究是以國家臺灣圖書館收錄的舊籍，作為研究分析的母資料庫，將其中與藥用植物相關的出版品及期刊以以「醫」、「藥」、「漢醫」、「漢藥」、「植物」、「疾病」等關鍵字篩出，再逐一蒐集、閱讀、瀏覽、輯錄以及分析藥用蕨類植物的相關材料。本文選擇以藥用蕨類作為研究的代表對象，主要著眼於臺灣地理環境溫暖多濕，是蕨類植物的良好生長環境，也是先民生活經驗中非常重要的藥用植物資源。

 

In Japanese ruled period, the systematical study of pharmaceutical plant and natural resources in Taiwan is promoted by the Government-General of Taiwan to enhance the productivity of the colony. The academic results of the period, featured by the comprehensive study on pharmaceutical plant used by Chinese and indigenous groups and the scientific method of studying natural history, did deeply impact the study of pharmaceutical plant after recession. Lots of studies or reports published in the Japanese ruled period, and the study utilized the collections in National Taiwan Library and filter the data with key words of “treatment” “medicine”, “traditional Asian medicine”, “traditional Asian treatment”,“plant”, and “disease”, picking up and reviewing literature related to pharmaceutical Filicales. The study aims to the analysis of pharmaceutical Filicales is that Filicales is a critical medical resource for the ancient residence in Taiwan and the environment in Taiwan, which is warm and humid, is also suitable for the growth of the plant.
