2012 is the year of many Asia pacific political leader replacements. This study looks at the various important factors of international relations, specifically the role of leadership, to rethink the alliance and trust built by political leaders as Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and Yasuiro Nakasone in the 1980s, while attempting to review the significance of leadership in future Asia Pacific international politics. US-Japan relations were dubbed the most important bilateral relations in the 1980s (Mike Mansfield), but today, Japan's national strength is relatively low. Additionally, the US-Japan-China relations is expected to experience large fluctuations, especially in Asia Pacific international politics in the upcoming one to two decades. |
