廖偉立建築的旅程--造化之眼下的景致

Wei-Li Liao’s Journey for Architecture--Liao’s Eye of Horus and Its Views

廖偉立是台灣建築獎、遠東建築獎獲獎或是佳作常客，他的許多作品成為代表台灣當代建築的重要註解。自2015年起他開始出版一系列書籍，並有個人創作展的展出；他積極的闡述他創作的理念，迥異於台灣一般專業建築師的沉默。 本文討論他的創作思維，並對於他自述他創作論述中的觀點提出作品評論性的觀察；其中以2009年完工的救恩堂作為本文觀察的母體，並以此輻射出廖偉立在2010-2016年間出爐的忠孝路教會、毓繡美術館，以及即將於2019年完工的礁溪教會中類似的空間觀察。

 

Mr. Wei-Li Liao has awarded by many famed architectural awards and regarded as one of the best architects in Taiwan. Since 2015 he published several books and had a solo exhibition for his architectural works. This article states his design ideas in several perspectives. The most distinct feature of his design comes from his way to produce architecture. Sketches and drafting drawings instead of formal architectural drawing come up his unusual tectonics, both creating unique spatial sequence and creative details.
