單車騎士佩戴安全帽之探討

A Review of the Literatures in Cyclists Wearing Bicycle Helmets

本文旨在藉由回顧單車安全相關文獻，進行單車騎士佩戴安全帽安全性的討論。主要分成五個部分：第一、說明不支持在城市騎乘單車須配戴安全帽的理由；第二、他國與台灣的單車騎士因為騎乘單車造成受傷的現況；第三、佩戴安全帽可保護單車騎士安全的有效程度；第四、其他國家騎乘單車佩戴安全帽的立法現況；第五、佩戴安全帽的正確方法；最後，希望能提供政府可以著力於單車安全的建議與觀點。

The purpose of this article was to review the literatures in cyclists wearing bicycle helmets. The following aspects will be discussed. First, reasons why helmets should not be worn when riding bicycles in the city. Second, the current status of injury due to bicycle riding. Third, the effectiveness of wearing a bicycle helmet on the cyclist's safety. Four, legal situation in other countries with regards to the helmets wearing by cyclists. Five, the correct way of wearing bicycle helmets. Last, recommendations for the government to consider regarding the cycling safety of the citizen.
