The purpose of this study was to investigate the attack patterns, attack methods, application tactics, and technical movements of the 1st to 8th weight classes gold medalists of open women’s taekwondo in the 2017 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games. The analysis method of this study was the video observational system. Live video and records were taken at the scene to obtain competition data, and related records were collected at the competition site. The data obtained was aggregated for statistical analysis. After summarizing all the data, the following conclusions were obtained:I. Attack types: Attack types mainly rely on active attacks, supplemented by passive attacks. Right front foot plays an important role during the competition. The main sparring stance is right front left back foot stance. The attack type of the main score is active right front foot. The attack type of score successfully rate is passive left back foot.II, The attack methods. Attack number is mainly using single kick on mid-section of the frontal trunk.. The score is mainly using single kick on mid-section of the frontal trunk.. The success rate is mainly using single high front kick.III, The application of movement. Attack number is mainly based on in-situ attacks, supplemented by hop step attacks. Score number is mainly based on in-situ attacks, supplemented by hop step attacks. Success rate is mainly based on close attacks, and supplemented by in-situ attacks.IV. Technical movements. Attack number is mainly based on turning kick, and the side kick is supplemented. Scores number is mainly based on turning kick, supplemented by a side kick. Success rate is mainly based on fore fists, and axe kicks were supplemented. Research conclusions: 2017 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games Taekwondo Open Group Women’s was positive active in-stiu side kick-and-click attack, and the success rate was mainly passive left hind foot, front upper end, close attack and punch.
