從高屏區公立醫學中心急診業務看專師工作發展

The Nurse Practitioners’ Role Developments in the Emergency Department of a Public Medical Center in Kaohsiung

專科護理師（專師）的發展是近十年台灣醫療業務發展的重要里程碑，也是提供目前台灣最有效的醫療輔助人力。本文以高屏區公立醫學中心急診外傷專師發展的過程，來說明現行制度下，專師的臨床工作內容、教育課程參與、進修方向，以及未來展望，提供台灣醫療輔助人力及專師發展的參考。

 

The establishment of the Taiwan nurse practitioner (NP) role is an important milestone for Taiwan’s medical business development in the past decade. It is also considered the most effective solution for the medical manpower shortage in Taiwan. In this article, the development process of the trauma NP role and function in the Emergency Medicine Department of a public medical center in Kaohsiung is described. The contents cover trauma NPs’ practice scope, job description, clinical training, continued education, and future outlook. The information described is aimed to provide a reference for the future development of NP and medical manpower in Taiwan.
