Introduction: Mo-chi is the significant predictor of team operation in sport team, and featured by its shared perceptions on task knowledge, efficacy estimation and affective perception among members. In order to appropriately reflect this characteristic, direct and meta-perspectives were applied to develop the mo-chi scale for sport teams (TMSST). A series of studies were conducted to examine the psychometric properties of TMSST. Method: Present study contained 2 sub-studies, 197 (73 females, 73 females; Mage=19.79,SD=1.28) and 365 collegiate athletes (139 females, 226 males; Mage=20.30,SD=2.08) were recruited, respectively. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted examined the reliability and validity of TMSST. Results: The exploratory factor analysis and item analysis supported the factor structure and item appropriateness of TMSST, and the confirmatory factor analysis and criterion-related examination provided further supportive evidence of psychometric properties of TMSST. Conclusion: After a systematical series of studies, a well-examined TMSST is developed. |
