本文藉由全國各大專院校104學年度所開授生命教育相關課程,探討大專校院開設生命教育課程的現況,採探索性分析,剖析「教育部大學院校課程資源網」及「教育部技職校院課程資源網」之生命教育課程關鍵字。結果發現:一、一般大學較技專校院重視生命教育課程;二、大專校院開設生命教育相關課程數量私立高於公立、修課人數私立技專校院最高而公立一般大學最低、女生修習比率高於男生;三、一般大學、技專校院最常開設課程分別為心理與諮商、生命(含生命教育);四、生命教育漸成為全校共同必修課程之趨勢;五、生死課題漸受重視;六、教學方法侷限於課堂教學與小組討論。據上,本文最後建議運用獎勵機制引導大專校院強化生命教育相關課程,以及積極辦理教學法研習。
英文摘要
This paper aims to present an overview of life education instruction and curriculum at the universities and colleges in Taiwan. The data analyzed in this paper are from 2015 academic year and publicly shared on “The College Course Information website” and “Technological College and Junior College Course Information website”. The main fi ndings are as follows: 1. Four-year colleges give priority to life education than technological colleges. 2. State-founded colleges provide more life education related courses than private colleges do; students in private technological colleges take more life education related courses than students in state-founded colleges do; female students take more life education related courses than male students do. 3. The most offered life education related courses fall into two categories, psychology and counseling and life education. 4. More and more colleges offer life education related courses as either the core courses or required courses. 5. More and more colleges pay heed to courses on life and death issues. 6. Most classes are conducted with lectures and group discussion. The two recommendations as follows: 1. An incentive mechanism could serve as a guide for colleges to provide chances for deep learning in life education curriculum. 2. There should be more workshops or programs on teaching strategies of life education.
